8 Ways to Embrace Change

I found this in my favorite magazine called REAL SIMPLE. It was originally "10 Ways to Embrace Change," but I didn't like the tenth way. So I cut it down to eight.

1- Mother yourself a little. Make yourself nutritious meals and clean your house, it really does make you feel a ton better.
2- Silence your inner know-it-all. "Your IQ wont do much good when your life is turned upside down."
3- Seek out new perspectives. Zen practitioners work for a "dont know" mind set, to assume you dont know anything so you can see the world with a fresh outlook.
4- Try something new and slightly scary. Because its fun to explore and change what it is you really like.
5- Be skeptical of common wisdom. Such as "there are no jobs," or "you can't become a ballerina if you start at age 20"
6- Learn to live with uncertainty. Pretty self explanatory.
7- Shed your old skin. Discard tired ideas and old routines. Be open to new things.

So there you have it.
