When people have told me "Relationships are hard" in the past, I did not really believe them. Probably because, with past relationships and long-gone boyfriends everything was so shallow. And none of my relationships lasted past two months anyway, so we never really got passed the "getting to know you" phases. So everything FELT easy.
That being said, Daniel and I have been together for close to 11 months now. We are hitting a bit of a rough patch. And I can say for the first time, I know what it means by relationships are hard. Things with Daniel have always been so natural and so simple. It has been so easy to just let him love me. And even easier to let myself love him.
I know that I am going to stick by him as long as he wants me to. I know that we are strong together and that we can pull through anything. I hope that things turn out well through all of this. And thats all I have. What I know and what I hope.
